Green Hat Responds to Growing Demand
London, UK, March 20, 2009 – Green Hat announces the expansion of its sales team with the addition of Alf Franklin as Head of Sales, EMEA.
Franklin spent the last ten years with Sybase, most recently as Sales Manager for Cross Industry. His steady promotion from consulting to management recognized his command not only of the changing technology landscape, but also of customer needs for improved business processes. Franklin spearheaded Sybase’s growth into multiple industries to complement their strong presence in the financial sector.
“Green Hat is bringing out next generation testing technology with additional emphasis on the needs of certain industries. Our client base is very diverse and we are expanding our work with multiple services organisations,” explained Peter Cole, president and founder of Green Hat. “Growing demand led us to expand our sales team to provide the close-to-the-customer management attention we are known for. We expect to increase our involvement in North America and other markets as well.”

Green Hat coaches organisations on how to deploy an automated testing framework in specific situations. These include Testing and Performance Centres of Excellence, infrastructure upgrades and sector-specific message formats in processes such as international payments (SWIFT) and and healthcare (HL7). The framework assures that automation provides sustainable improvements. Green Hat was the first testing technology partner for SOA infrastructure vendors Software AG and TIBCO and also serves the SAP, Oracle, Sonic and Fiorano customer bases. EMEA commercial and government customers are leveraging these SOA technologies to become more efficient and more agile in new product launches and customer service.

Franklin’s experience also includes integration architecture with Andersen Consulting. He earned an MBA from the London Business School and a MA in Mathematics from Oxford University - Lincoln College.
