Green Hat rebrands and relaunches suite of value-add products for TIBCO customers at Strategic Directions 2003

LONDON – September 17th, 2003 – Green Hat Consulting, a TIBCO Alliance Partner and Exhibition Sponsor for TIBCO’s Strategic Directions 2003 Conference, today announced the rebranding and relaunching of its suite of products designed to add value to all aspects of a TIBCO implementation.

GH Tester
An extremely powerful, automated test tool which provides unmatched facilities for TIBCO developers and testers to generate and receive messages, create test stubs and jigs, run previously created tests at the touch of a button, undertake performance and regression testing and simulate missing adapters. Comprehensive reports detail the test results, providing information not only on test success or failure, but also on the performance of the application under test.

GH Tracker
GH Tracker is effectively a "black box" flight recorder that captures all, or a user-defined subset of, messages travelling around the network. The product provides powerful search and filter capabilities allowing erroneous or damaged messages to be quickly found, repaired and, if appropriate, republished onto the network.

Given the inherent value contained within a message (that might carry an order, or a customer invoice or other key data), this product is easy to justify from a business return perspective.

GH Viewer
Like GH Tracker, GH Viewer is primarily focused on production systems. The product provides a protocol aware view on the live system’s performance, allowing easy identification of potential hotspots and bottlenecks. This enables corrective action to be taken proactively, before a potentially expensive service breakage occurs.

In addition, message profiles can be compared against previously captured profiles to identify where changes have occurred and the impact of planned changes on the messaging infrastructure. Armed with this sort of information, root cause analysis of problems, when they do occur, is significantly accelerated which, in turn, means the problem can be rectified and valuable business services restored in as short an amount of time as possible.
